Leakage current sensors for charging stations
CDSR is a leakage current sensor developed to meet market demand for a residential and commercial charging station, offering a version for single-phase architecture and another for three-phase topology.
With a maximum current per phase of 32 Arms, the CDSR transducers can be integrated into AC chargers from 3.7 kW to 22kW.
These sensors are RCD (Residual Current Detector) Type B, featuring 1mADC measurement, SPI, and analog output communication, and can operate within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
Utilizing Fluxgate technology (open loop), CDSR current sensors are reliable and accurate leakage current measurements for residential applications.
CDSR sensors, renowned for their ability to measure DC, AC, and pulse currents, are commonly used in various residential applications. They are designed to measure leakage currents in an IC-CPD within cable and wall boxes, serving as contact and protection devices for single-phase nominal currents up to ±32 A RMS.
CDSR sensors are suitable for the following applications:
Product | Document | Max primary current (ARMS) | Leakage Measuring Range (ADC) | Bandwidth (Hz) | Output |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
CDSR-NP | Datasheet 3D ECAD Models | 32Arms per phase 3P+N | ±150 mA AC & DC | 2 kHz | SPI & Analog output |
CDSR-TP | Datasheet 3D ECAD Models | 32Arms per phase P+N | ±150 mA AC & DC | 2 kHz | SPI & Analog output |
